“Be modern! Collect the waste separately!”
The information-educational program of ECOPAC „Be modern! Collect the waste separately !” for popularization of the separate collection of packaging wastes started in 2008 with a versatile and attractive program and it will comprise more than 90 municipalitues in the country. Within the campaign started an ecology road show, the only of its kind in the country, explaining how to collect suitable for recycling paper, plastic, metal and glass packaging in the three coloured containers. ECOPAC traveling teams stop in every town, encompassed by the separate collection systems of the organization, and make a joyful eco-party. The participants learn how to throw away the wastes separately, play, have fun and win prizes together. Every person who throws away packaging in the mobile ECOPAC station receives a surprise gift, and the prize for the most assiduous person is a home separate collection container. read more>>
“Sensible on the road”
The campaign „Sensible on the road” is part from the commitments of Devin to the European Road Safety Charter, which the company signed at the end of 2007.
The initiative of the company is to ensure that society becomes aware of the continuously increasing number of road accidents and irresponsible behaviour on the road.
Why this particular project? As a socially responsible company, Devin are concerned for the extremely high number of victims of road accidents, a great part of whom are ypung people aged 0-24 years. That is why the project involves specially created by children pictures on the topic of Road Safety.
Implementation of the project: The company has distributed messages on the big family bottles of mineral and spring water in the trade network in the whole country. The message is written on a child’s picture printed on a paper tie for each bottle. In this way the company makes an appeal to their over 1000 000 consumers for road traffic safety, freely make crosswalks near schools where the traffic is heavy, initiates additional lessons at schools on the Road Safety. read more>>
“Earth Day”
On 22 April 2008 – the Earth day, students from Vasil Levski Secondary School, with the official sponsorship of Orgahim AD, held a campaign under the motto „We care for the Earth”. About twenty decorative trees were planted. read more>>
“National educational-training competition for the best gas technology specialist”
In 2006 Overgas organized the first National educational-training competition for the best gas technology specialist. In 2008 the competition was organized in partnership with the Ministry of Science and Education. The iniative embodies the ambition of the company to increase the level of professional training in the sphere of gas technology to attract young people’s attention to the opportunities, offered by the labour market in the field of gas delivery. read more>>
